About Rob K. Roy
Rob K. Roy is a litigation attorney at Boohoff Law's Tampa office with more than three decades of legal experience. His practice covers personal injury, wrongful death, product and premises liability, insurance disputes, and civil litigation. Rob joined Boohoff Law in 2024 following a 24-year run at a prominent Tampa Bay personal injury and criminal defense firm. Before that, he served as an Assistant State Attorney for Hillsborough County, prosecuting cases ranging from felony drug offenses to violent crimes. He also spent several years as outside trial counsel for insurance companies. Over his career, Rob has tried approximately 75 jury cases and more than 100 non-jury trials, participating in thousands of mediations and recovering tens of millions of dollars for negligence victims. He earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, where he was named Best Speaker in the Nation at the Tournament of Champions, and his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. He is an Eagle Member of the Florida Justice Association and a past president of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.
