Chris Short

Chris Short is a partner at Kiefer & Kiefer who focuses on personal injury and insurance defense. His litigation experience includes criminal and domestic matters, oral argument in district courts across Louisiana, and judge and jury trials. Before joining Kiefer & Kiefer, Chris served as law clerk to the Honorable Judge Raymond Steib Jr. of the 24th JDC.

He also worked at Martzell, Bickford & Centola, where he handled high-profile personal injury cases including a death case stemming from Deepwater Horizon. Chris serves as a Board Member for the Pro Bono Project and has served as a committee member and sub-chair for the Justice for All Ball. Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tulane Law School, where he served as Senior Associate Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.
