About Christopher Bruno

Christopher J. Bruno is a partner at Kiefer & Kiefer with more than 30 years of legal experience, most of it in personal injury cases. He also served as a state court judge for 12 years. Over his career, he has handled more than 12,000 contested matters and more than 1,490 trials. Chris was appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court as Judge Pro Tempore in 2004.

In 2009, he was elected as a Division F Judge of the Civil District Court, Orleans Parish, and was later elected Chief Judge. After graduating from Tulane University Law School, Chris became known as a formidable advocate and has received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for ethics and practice. He is also a musician and tennis player dedicated to civil service and the arts in Louisiana.
