About Thomas Kane
Thomas "Ted" Kane is a trial attorney at Mickey Keenan, P.A. with nearly two decades of legal experience. He spent the majority of his career defending insurance companies and their insureds and now applies that inside knowledge to represent injury victims. Ted holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he moved to Florida in high school and graduated from Tampa Catholic. He earned his degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida, graduating magna cum laude, then attended Stetson University College of Law, where he served as an editor on the Stetson Law Review and as a Teaching Fellow for the Research and Writing Department. At a large defense firm, Ted rose to Shareholder and handled high-stakes cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury claims, trying numerous cases to verdict as first-chair and second-chair trial counsel.
