About Lea Phelps

Lea Phelps is originally from Cedar Hill, Texas. Before entering the law, she worked as a registered travel nurse, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist Health Sciences University in Memphis. Her clinical background spans multiple specialties and gives her a distinct perspective in medical malpractice cases. After earning her J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, Lea worked as a prosecuting attorney, then in nursing home defense.

She joined The Brad Hendricks Law Firm in November 2023 and concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, medical negligence, misdiagnosis, and defective products. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. Outside work, Lea enjoys the theatre and spending time with family and friends.
