About Chelsie King Garza
Chelsie King Garza is a Houston-based trial lawyer with a record of success in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including trucking accidents, workplace injuries, and product liability claims. She earned her B.S. in Political Science cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1996 and her J.D. cum laude from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1999. She was first admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey in 2000 and to the Texas bar in 2002. Throughout her career, she has handled pro bono cases that have led to lasting changes in Texas law, including work that modified workers' compensation regulations benefiting injured workers statewide. She has served as a committee chair, co-chair, and council member in the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and Texas Women Rainmakers, and has been appointed by local courts for ad litem work. Outside of practice, she fundraises for the Tahirih Justice Center and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
